Specialized work requiring a trade license or permit is performed by properly licensed professionals where required by applicable law.
2. Estimates & Proposals
Initial estimates are provided for planning purposes and are not a binding contract. A binding agreement is formed only when you receive and approve a written proposal, consultation agreement, or invoice that describes the scope, pricing, exclusions, timeline, and payment terms for your project.
3. Payments & Deposits
Payments are requested only after you receive and approve a written proposal, consultation agreement, or invoice. We may request a deposit before scheduling or beginning approved work, with progress and final payments due as stated in your agreement. Online payments are processed securely through Stripe. 4. Scope, Changes & Permits
Work is performed according to the approved written scope. Any changes to the scope (“change orders”) must be agreed in writing and may affect pricing and timelines. Where permits or code approvals are required, they will be obtained as described in your agreement, and permit-required or specialized trade work will be performed by appropriately licensed professionals where required by law.
5. Customer Responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate information, reasonable access to the property, and timely decisions and approvals. You are responsible for disclosing known conditions that may affect the work and for obtaining any necessary approvals from property owners, associations, or other parties where applicable.
6. Cancellation & Refunds
Cancellation and refund terms are described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy and in your written agreement. Amounts already spent on materials, labor, or services performed may be non-refundable to the extent permitted by law.
7. Warranties & Disclaimers
We perform services with reasonable care and skill. Except as expressly stated in your written agreement or as required by applicable law, services and this website are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Any specific workmanship warranty, if offered, will be stated in writing in your agreement.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Elevate Home Renovations LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to our website or services. Our total liability for any claim relating to a project will not exceed the amount you paid to us for that project, except where such limitation is prohibited by law. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
